Mariana Araoz, Artistic Director at Theatre in Balance is teaching her world-renowned In-Balance Method at veues such as Teaterhögskolan Malmö, Ecole du Jeu in Paris, at prestigious national drama schools the world over; Hong Kong, New York, Paris, Moscow, Sevilla, Minneapolis, Chicago and Oslo.The In-Balance Method is a unique method Mariana created throughout her work as an object theatre-mask-puppet master as an actor, writer, director, and pedagogue.

The In-Balance Method brings balance on stage and off with Mariana's unique pro-ecological philosophy based on principles of mask, puppetry and object theatre - where definitions of age, gender and ego have no place when casting and redefining a theatre space for performance and motion.

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Mariana Araoz, professor of mask at Teaterhögskolan Malmö since 2013, and at Ecole du Jeu in Paris, is the Artistic Director of Theatre In-Balance in Sweden, and of Maison de l'Equilibre du Genre/Collectif Masque in Paris. She divides her time between Sweden and France. Mariana specializes in gender balance, ecology, puppetry and masks. With her two companies in Sweden and France, she produces and directs plays, movies, conferences and workshops using the Mask and Puppets technique, creating a unique gender-fluid, peace- art and ecology theatre style.
