Classic Quartett plays Nordics

Madeleine Vaillancourt (violin), Hosuan Feng (violin), Laura Escanilla (viola), Valentin Priebus (cello) are musicians of the Hamburg NDR Elbphilharmonic Orchestra. They have teamed up for the Nordic Summer Vibes to present alongside Dovrak's American Quartet (Op. 96) traditional Danish tunes arranged by the Danish String Quartet, including Shine You No More by Rune Tonsgaard Sørenesen.

»Love you just a little bit«

An evening full of emotions and artistic compositions which tell us stories about the ups and downs of life and about love: Anri Coza, the woman behind the piano and with the silver surfer curls, is no stranger to Hamburg stages. Since her appearance at The Voice of Germany in 2019 it is a rare opportunity to experience the South African-born artist perform in such a unique and intimate setting.

Anri decided to declutter the music and go back to the roots of her songs - songs which are always "born" at the piano. In order to give the songs an additional facet, she is accompanied on stage by the multi-instrumentalist Anne de Wolff.

Nordic Warrior Woman

The Amazons have been a topic of discussion for thousands of years. Who were they and why are they called Amazons? What is the difference between an amazon and a warrior woman? Recent archaeological excavations are uncovering increasing evidence of female warriors everywhere, including in the Nordic countries.

In a stage performance, Tina Robinson and Marianne Petersen bring us closer to the warrior women of the north and playfully uncover the truth, conveying facts and origins.
